How to enroll — 4 steps

Step 3

Register & assess

Bring your ID, pay the class fee, and take a short placement assessment.

Step 4

Start learning

Join your class, days or evenings, at a location near you.

Semester dates

Fall: September – mid-December
Spring: February – mid-May

Registration sessions are held at the start of each semester — August and January.

Bring to your appointment

One accepted form of identification (see the full list on the Classes page), for example:

  • REAL ID driver’s license or state ID
  • U.S. passport or birth certificate
  • Permanent Resident Card (I-551)

Taking the GED® test

Register, schedule, and pay for your test at GED.com — a free account, $36 per section. A passing score is 145 per section, and sections can be taken separately. RARAE provides the prep classes to get you ready.
